The internal DAC module used in the MIMIK employs delta-sigma conversion technology, which necessitates an extremely high quality clock signal. This clock signal is provided by a dedicated low phase- noise oscillator which feeds the DAC and decoder chip independently, keeping the signal free of any mechanism-induced noise modulation.
